Everything you need to know about deleting your Bhivo account and what happens to your data.

This Account Deletion Policy applies to all users of the Bhivo HRMS platform, operated by Riseworld Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All data will be permanently erased after the 30-day processing window. Please export your data before submitting a deletion request.
Bhivo respects your right to control your data. This policy explains how organisation administrators and individual users can request deletion of their accounts, what data is removed, what is retained for legal reasons, and how the process works.
An administrator with owner-level access can submit a request to permanently delete the entire organisation account, including all workspaces, employee records, and associated data.
Individual employees may request deletion of personal data that is not required for employment, legal, tax, payroll, or compliance purposes by contacting their organisation's HR administrator or reaching out to Bhivo support directly at hr@bhivo.com.
To protect against unauthorised deletion, all deletion requests are verified against the registered email address of the account owner. We may ask for additional identity verification before proceeding.
Before submitting a deletion request, we strongly recommend exporting all your data. Go to Settings → Data Management → Export Data in your Bhivo dashboard to download a full copy of your records in CSV or JSON format.
Send a deletion request from your registered email address to hr@bhivo.com with the subject line 'Account Deletion Request [Your Organisation Name]'. Include your organisation ID (found under Settings → Account) and confirm you have exported any data you wish to retain.
Our team will send a confirmation email within 2 business days acknowledging your request. The email will include the scheduled deletion date and a final reminder to export any remaining data.
You have 7 days from the confirmation email to cancel the request by replying to the confirmation thread. After this window, the deletion process begins and cannot be reversed.
Account deletion is completed within 30 days of the request being confirmed. During this period your account is suspended no new data can be added, but existing data remains accessible for export. You will receive an email once deletion is fully complete.
All organisation settings, billing details, subscription records, and admin credentials are permanently removed.
All employee profiles, personal information, employment records, attendance logs, leave history, payroll data, performance reviews, onboarding and offboarding records, and asset assignments are permanently deleted.
Internal messages, notification history, and platform activity logs associated with your organisation are erased.
All third-party integration connections and associated tokens are revoked and removed.
Where personal data has been shared with third-party service providers acting on our behalf, we will take reasonable steps to ensure deletion requests are communicated to such providers, subject to legal and technical limitations.
Certain records may be retained for a period required by applicable law for example, financial transaction records and invoices are retained for up to 7 years as required under Indian tax regulations. These records are stored securely and are not used for any other purpose. We process and delete personal data in accordance with applicable laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics (e.g., feature adoption rates) that cannot be traced back to your organisation or any individual may be retained to improve our platform.
If an account was involved in a security incident or suspected fraud, relevant logs may be retained for the duration required to resolve the matter or as required by law.
When an organisation account is deleted, all employee sub-accounts under that organisation are also deleted. Individual employees will lose access to their Bhivo profile and self-service portal immediately upon suspension. Employees are encouraged to download their own records (payslips, leave summaries) from the employee self-service portal before the administrator submits a deletion request.
Deleting your Bhivo account also removes your data from our servers associated with the Bhivo mobile application. However, data cached locally on your device (e.g., downloaded payslips) is not automatically removed. You can clear this data manually by uninstalling the Bhivo app from your device.
Once an account deletion is complete, it cannot be reactivated or restored. If you wish to use Bhivo again in the future, you will need to create a new organisation account and re-enter all data from scratch. We cannot recover any data from a deleted account.
