Account & Organization Data

When you register with Bhivo, we collect your name, email address, organization name, billing details, and any other information you voluntarily provide during account setup.

Employee & HR Data

As an HRMS platform, Bhivo processes employee information on behalf of your organization. This includes personal details (name, contact information, date of birth), employment records (designation, department, salary, leave balance), attendance and payroll data, and performance evaluations.

Usage Data

We automatically collect data about how you interact with our platform including log data, IP addresses, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps.

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain sessions, remember your preferences, and improve platform performance. You can control cookie settings through your browser.

Platform Operations

To provide, maintain, and improve Bhivo's HR modules including Recruitment, Onboarding, Attendance, Leave, Payroll, Performance, and Offboarding.

Communications

To send transactional emails (password resets, account alerts), product updates, and with your consent promotional communications about new features and services.

Analytics & Improvement

Aggregated, anonymized usage data is used to understand product adoption, identify bugs, and guide feature development. This data cannot be traced back to individual users.

Legal & Compliance

To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes, and to enforce our Terms of Service.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

Bhivo never sells, rents, or trades your personal or organizational data to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Service Providers

Employee Records

Organizations may have statutory obligations to retain certain HR records. Bhivo provides export tools so you can download your data before terminating your account.

Access & Portability

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, in a portable, machine-readable format.

Correction

You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

Erasure

You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.

Objection & Restriction

You have the right to object to or restrict certain types of processing. We will honour these requests unless we have a legitimate legal basis to continue processing.

Bhivo may integrate with third-party services (e.g., accounting software, productivity tools). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies before enabling any integration.

Bhivo is a business-to-business platform intended for use by organizations and their adult employees. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page and notify account administrators via email for material changes. Continued use of Bhivo after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
